WHY LEARN PATTERN MAKING?
Achieve a perfect fit every time
Your body is unique — so it’s no surprise that standard sizes often miss the mark. With pattern making skills, you can draft garments tailored precisely to your measurements, achieving a truly custom fit every time..
Express your creativity
Our pattern making courses are designed to give you the skills to transform ideas into real garments. Learn how to draft, adjust and customise patterns to suit your style and vision.
Save money and create a mindful wardrobe
Bespoke clothing often comes with a high price tag. Pattern making lets you create beautiful, high-quality pieces for a fraction of the cost — and with less waste.
Understand Garments from the Inside Out
You'll gain insight into how flat fabric becomes structured clothing. Learn about fit, ease, dart placement and seam types, while developing a stronger grasp of both sewing techniques and design.
Repurpose What You Already Own
Learn how to recreate and update your favourite garments by turning them into new patterns. You'll be able to refresh old favourites or build on pieces you love.
Turn Your Skills into a Career
Pattern making is a key skill in the fashion industry. Whether you dream of launching your own label or working in design, it opens up exciting new opportunities.
Start with a Custom Pattern Block
You’ll begin by creating a personalised pattern block (or sloper) — the foundation for an endless range of garment styles, all tailored to fit you perfectly.
